No, definitely not. I know Champion is also waiting and there's a few more people. The recent delays have not helped.

Just keep the faith.

I've just received today the approval letter dated on 21st May and I have to arrange the ceremony within 14 days after the letter date reception. That'so more than 14 days today. I called this afternoon the Council but they didn't receive yet copy of my approval letter. I'm confused as I read somewhere 90 days and not 14 days to arrange a ceremony.
Could you help me ?
Thanks

You are right no harm to call them. I will do it. I'm from Morocco. Do you think it affects the processing time of my application ?
Just keep us posted of outcome. this might come handy to other members. Even if they refused to look at your records.
I called the HO and they told me I should call them when my application is over 6 months, not now. They have too much bagloads. I don't understund why some of us have to wait so long.
I can do nothing just wait

14 days to arrange the ceremony (suggested) as if they are n ot doing in a perticular month and you are away on another u should not missed out the chance to get your ceremony done in 90 days (my idea only)
90 days to take oath
hope i am right

The Home Office is so annoying! I got my approval letter on the 18th of May (dated the 14th of May) and I still haven't received my letter of invitation to a ceremony, even though they said it should be with me in 2 weeks. Phoned them and they said they have a backlog cos they have been swamped etc, but I would have thought it would be pretty easy to just print off a certificate and send it to a council

Thanks Champion,

I have send original passport in first place, as I did postal application (couldn't get NCS appointment before 1st of April).
Problem was that I changed my passport a year ago and by ukrainian embassy regulations the old one was distroyed. I had only letter from embassy confirming that, which I send out to the HO. Also I had letter confirming my employment for 2.5 years (I wasn't allow to work before due to refusal and appeal of my marriage application). But it wasn't enought for HO and they ask for more documents. All I did I wrote a letter explaining my situation over again and send it back with some supporting HO letters from past. I thought when you give them your HO Ref they know full story about previous applications, but I was wrong.
Anyway I'm glad that after all, my immigration journey coming to an end.

I am glad that things sorted out quickly. Infact you will find yourself lucky as your case required someone to verify few details.
I dont think you have a home office reference number if you are applying for the first time.
I spoke to HO and they says you will get HO number only when you apply for BC. HO number in ILR is useless.
I don't know what he meant by.
Anyways I am glad for you.
mine case.
applied on 28th March and havent heard anything except ack letter.
I wish if there is anyway you can pass a good feedback to your case worker on prompt reply etc. heads off to him / her.

For me the BC reference number is the same as that of the ILR. So I think HO got one unique reference number for every individuals

In my case the same with Maveli62: My BC Ref number was all the way same for all applications I have ever done with HO, so I suppose its my HO unique reference number.

I'm not sure if I can do any feedbacks. I can tell you name of my case worker, but I can't see how it will help with your case, because she may not be the one who dealing with it.
Have they deducted money yet?
You should really get something by the end of next week, as it will be 12 weeks since you send your application.
I know its hard, but you should do everything you can possibly do and just wait, that what I did.
