Guyz, I've just phone UKBA - a nice lady again, said

a decision has been made yesterday & letters were sent out using second class post

The lady objected to disclose what the decision was

when I asked about my child MN1, 3(!), the lady asked me what was her nationality before application..I guess hopefully all good :)

Yes, I guess it is all dependent upon case worker who processes it...how quickly can they take a decision and how quickly can they handle complex cases...I'm sure people whose fee got debited on or after 21-Oct should be lined up in success queue and gates have now opened for them...will post once I see actual letters..cheers until then...

I received a letter yesterday dated 27/10/2013 informing me that my payment has been declined. After having checked with the bank, it looks like an incorrect security code was entered :(. I have just re-sent the payment slip...
payment taken today (my available credit amount dropped by 874.00). finally...now just sit back, relax and...wait.

Great, thanks for the reply. We can conclude that case allocation does not depend on the order the application or acknowledgment is made.

Application Timeline
Eligibility criteria: 5yr + 3yr ILR
Method of application: NCS (Trowbridge) on 3 October 2013
Date of receipt by UKBA: 7 October 2013
Date of debit of fees: 16 October 2013
Date of receipt of acknowledgement: 16 October 2013
Date of receipt of approval: 31 October 2013 (received 6 November 2013)
Date of Ceremony: TBD

I requested discretion with regard to the number of days outside of the UK over a five year period. I was not expecting such a fast turnaround, and am very pleased.

Hi Amgody02,
I applied on the same date as you on 2/10, but through NCS. I also got my fees debited on 16/10 with acknowledgement received on 19/10. I received an email from them on 4/11 that my case had not been taken into consideration yet. It looks like you and me are on the same boat. So plz keep each other posted.

Hi All of early October applicants,
I have been following September timeline as well, and some with acknowledgement dated 16 Sep got their approvals on 4 Nov same with applicants of 15 Oct acknowledgment. So as I said just because we applied early than others does not mean our application will be considered before their.

No, nothing here, I am starting to think EEA members cases take longer than IRL ( not linked to a BC spouse), and I have seen it few times on the forum. My case is straight forward, I called them yesterday and they said no decision has been made yet. We shall see if anything come in before the end of the week.

Sent mail to nationalityprogress@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk to enquire MN1 application status for UK born child an Got below reply from

<
You should receive an acknowledgment letter between 4-6 weeks after we received your application. During busy periods this may even take 7 weeks as payment will take longer to clear.

From what I can tell payment has cleared for you on 22nd October therefore an acknowledgement should reach you in the next couple of weeks. If you receive no new correspondence after two weeks please get in touch.
>

I am puzzled because I got acknowledgement for fee deduction and gave them payment reference number then why is this reply? is there any other application reference number?

My refence number is like NFEE1093xxxx

Hi

I have sent our joint applications (2xAN and MN1) on 29/09/2013,
(EEA members 5+1 with PR Cards)
UKBA received on 01/10/2013
Fees taken on 11/10/2013
Acknowledgment letter dated on 11/10/2013 (received 15/10/2013)
Approvals: still waiting

I have received reply from nationalityhelpdesk@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk that decision has not been made yet.

I agree that consideration time is longer for EEA applications. Nothing else to say than HAVE TO WAIT :(

Good luck everybody :)

PANIC STATE
sent another mail and reply says <I have checked the system and the application is not yet on the system so I am unable to find out the progress status. Due to high volumes of applications there is a delay in processing them.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for this.>

We need to travel to India on 1st December can we request to return Passports and BRP cards without withdrawing application?

Thanks
