limited leave outside the immigration rules claiming benefit

Post by bahwe » Wed Nov 06, 2013 12:25 pm

Hi
stuck and confused. Been checking this forum, ukba website work and pension. Also called advice bureau but with no clear answer. U can't claim benefits if under immigration ccontrol. U r under immigration control if u have been granted limited leave with no recourse to public funds. I was granted limited leave outside the immigration rules and on my residence card it doesn't mention no recourse to public funds
my questions: am I under immigration control? Can I claim benefits?
Advice bureau website says that u don't have to pass the HRT habitual residency test if granted limited leave outside the immigration rules....
Ur help will b much appreciated
