Change in company name. Please urgent !!!

Hi, Forumites. Am applying in the next week from India.

Have a query. My company name has changed from Company XXX to Company YYY. Do i need to provide any evidence for the same. And if yes then what sort of evidence would suffice for the same.

I think you need to provide as much information as possible with regard to the name change and a covering letter explaining it.

What I have understood from ppl around is...
Explain it in a covering letter...
Give as much evidence as possible..
Press releases...mails...a letter from employer confirming the fact...
