Is switching from visitor category to IGS possible?

Hi

I due to attend my graduation ceremony in mid july and till then I am staying as a visitor in UK (have got FLR(o) to stay till graduation ceremony). Due to recent changes that home office have made to SEGS, I am eligible to apply for 12 months work visa so can I switch to IGS scheme from FLR(o) without leaving UK.

Any quick response would really be appreciated

you can not swtich to IGS from visitor visa as far as i am aware.

What I did I left the UK and applied at my British Consulate, it only took me 5mins, I just walked in and walked out. Do not know how long it will take in your country.

hell yes it was quick when I submitted my docs, the ECO told me I did not require an interview, he said come back in 15mins I am like UH!! and that was it 5mins.
