acknowledgement letter

Applied for the child naturalisation on 31st Oct. but haven't recd any acknowledgement so far. How long does it take to get the acknowlwdgement letter? Any suggestions on what can be done ?

It's not unusual to wait a couple of weeks for an acknowledgement letter. I'd say wait for at least another week before considering contacting them.

I received mine after three weeks. Hopefully in the next week or two you will receive it.

If you still have no news at the end of four weeks, i would suggest to call the citizenship helpline on: 062-32500 OR 1890 25 28 54 which operates every Tuesday and Thursday between 10:00 am to 12:30 PM.
