Tier 4 to Tier 1 Entreprenuer

Hi All

two of my friends are Tier 4 Student in the UK.they are looking to switch to Tier 1 Entrepreneur category.
they have recently completed his Masters from the UK.
they are financially sound and have already business in UAE which they recently sold out.

Both ant to apply as an Entrepreneur team.Money will be in their joint account in the UK.


1- Can he switch to Tier 1 Entrepreneur within UK?
2- what documents they need to show?
3- What is the best way to transfer funds £200,000 from UAE into UK as they have personal account and this is huge amount.
4- do they need business plan?
5- DO they need service of contract( as they are student and not allowed to work full time or register as self employed or director yet)
6- Do they need any advertisement for their business(still they are student and not allowed to work)


can any body advice the list of documents and any other important thing which they need to include .

no more switching allowed from T4 to T1.....

they need to go back to their home country and apply from with access of 200k as well as sound business plan.

witin uk they can only apply graduate enterpeneuer

i am confused when i check home office website for tier 1 entreprenuer and when check "Switching" it gives following list
Can you switch into Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)?
If you already have permission to stay in the UK under any of the following categories, you can apply to Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) from inside the UK:

Tier 1 (General);
Tier 1 (Investor);
Tier 1 (Post-study work);
Tier 1 (Graduate entrepreneur);
business person;
innovator;
Highly Skilled Migrant Programme;
student;
student nurse;
student re-sitting an examination;
student writing up a thesis;
work permit holder;
postgraduate doctor or dentist;
self-employed lawyer;
writer, composer or artist;
investor;
International Graduates Scheme (or its predecessor, the Science & Engineering Graduate Scheme);
Fresh Talent: Working in Scotland Scheme;
Tier 2;
Tier 4; or
prospective entrepreneur.
The following categories can only apply if you have access to at least £50,000:

Tier 4;
student nurse;
student;
student writing up a thesis;
student re-sitting an examination; or
postgraduate doctor or dentist.

Tier 4 is mentioned in above list???? please explain little more

if u have access of 50000 from venture capital firm...then u can switch from tier 4 to tier 1 E. otherwise not
