UK VISA Extension Tier 2 Visa - Query on salary requirement?

Post by rockysingh » Wed Nov 13, 2013 4:17 pm

Hi Admin, ALL,

I have a valid VISA until 28th Dec, 2013. After a gap of 1 year i have recently come to UK again on 10th Nov, 2013 for official work which will be upto 1st June, 2014.

To stay upto June, 2014 i need to apply for my VISA extension, for which my Employer have already provided below list of documents:
Main Applicant

 Application form – Completely filled and signed
 COS Form
 Passport - original including all previous passports
 Original degree certificate
 Original mark sheets of all semesters
 Earlier WP approval – original/copy
 Two photos as per specification with full name and date of birth in the reverse. Should be in a small envelope
UK Pay slips last 6 months - Original
 MSA/Extended SOW (to take help of BU or Sales team)
 Updated CV (Details should be relevant to the job title being considered for extension)

As i have recently come to UK for work i do not have 6 months salary slip and thus not sure if i would be granted VISA.
My employer VISA dept asked me to go to India and file a fresh WP application as VISA extension can not be provided unless we have 6 months salary slip. Is this true?

Below are my details:
VISA Type: VISA TIER 2 (ICT) ESTABLISHED STAFF
FROM: 15/11/2010
TO: 28/12/2013
Last date of visit to UK: From 1st may, 2012 to 12th Nov, 2012
Recent visit to UK: From 10th Nov, 2013 to 1st June, 2014.

Thanks & Regards

Provided your sponsor has not reported to the HO that you ceased working for them in November 2012 (unlikely since you returned to the UK without problems) you can apply for an extension in the T2 ICT Long Term Staff category from the UK, no need to return home to apply for entry clearance

If the sponsor has given you a printout of your CoS check that the job SOC code is at or above NQF level 3 and that your salary is at least the appropriate one stated in:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... orkers.pdf

the application form you have to use is:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... nform1.pdf

You don't have to show maintenance or English. No payslips are needed and even if they were T2 ICT migrants can be paid overseas, i.e. overseas payslips would be acceptable provided the pay is converted to sterling

read also this:

Thanks MANCI! V.V Helpful!

I will followup with my sponsor/organization on your details.

1. Is the last 6 months offshore (India) salary required in STERLING currency? I have it in INR.

2. Should i provide 3 years Payslip?
a. Dec 2010 to Dec 2011 (12 months) - UK Payslip in STERLING
b. Jan 2012 to May 2012 (5 months) - India Payslip in INR
c. June 2012 to Nov 2012 (6 months) - UK Payslip in STERLING
d. Dec 2012 to Oct 2013 (11 months) - India Payslip in INR
e. Nov 2013 (1 month payslip to be received on month end) - UK Payslip in STERLING
