upper tribunal advice

Sorry posted on wrong post.

I am going to witness for a friend at the upper tribunal as immigration appealed against the first tribunals decision, but she wants me to lie about certain facts to the upper tribunal, which I don't feel comfortable about… plus would they catch me out?

How is the upper tribunal like? Is it like the first tribunal?

from my experience i will advice not to assist your friend. A judge is a person of highest respect in our society and lying to them might be a criminal offence.

Well I chose not to attend the tribunal hearing as I was not going to lie. But I guess it didn't matter anyone as my friend won the tribunal.
