Do I have to Visit Pakistan for Spouse Visa?

Post by usmanakram_86 » Tue Nov 12, 2013 12:08 pm

Hi,

I'm living in UK under Tier2 (General) Visa (Certificate of Sponsor by Employer)

I'm getting married in December 2013 (Insha'ALLAH)

and my fiancé (she is in Pakistan) after getting married in December I have to come back to continue my JOB.

and I didn't have enough time to stay for application process.

Is it OKAY if I handover all my Documents to my Wife and She'll apply for visa and attend the Appointments with Embassy and all.

Is it fine?

Is there any way to Apply for Spouse visa Online?

Many Thanks

You are not expected or required to be a presential part of the application. It's her application. Obviously she has your information to submit but, otherwise, you are not part of the process.

Im living in UK, and my wife in Pakistan given IELTS test

but today I heard about some other test which is Approved by UKBA

here is the Link

http://www.nts.org.pk/_Ops_Sec/Products ... A1-Eng.asp

it is mentioned on this website as
TOEIC A1 English language test (approved by UKBA) for candidates who want to enter UK on spouse visa.

and it put me in hell of confusion...

Please let me know which one is approved English language test?
Lucapooka wrote:According to thisthread (and why have you started another, as it's clear the information in that is relevant, if only for the avoidance of misdirection on this new matter posted here?) you are a PBS migrant, so I wonder why you are enquiring about language tests for your dependant?
usmanakram_86 wrote:So you mean, there is no Requirement for English Language test for a spouse visa for UK ???
Lucapooka wrote:Yes, there certainly is for a spouse visa application but that would not be something your wife would qualify for. Her application would be as the dependant of a PBS migrant.

I think the problem could be that you are reading random threads on the forum that cover all immigration categories, rather than simply reading the requirements for her category that can be found on the UKBA site.

I wish to bring my Wife with me from PAKISTAN, on dependant visa.

But When I read the "Application form for Tier 1, 2 and 5 dependants of points-based system" from UKBA Website
URL: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ation1.pdf

under Section A, they didn't mentioned "Tier 2 (General)" can anyone please guide me which one my wife should have to tick?

Or

does she have to Apply somewhere ONLINE?

That form is applicable if she was in the UK.

Form related questions

Post by usmanakram_86 » Mon Nov 18, 2013 10:16 am

Hi Thanks for quick answer.

1. (in my case) is it the Correct form which my wife have to fill from Pakistan?
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... /vaf10.pdf

2. Where she have to send? (because no address is mentioned)
2.2 does she have to submit it to UK Embassy in Pakistan after getting appointment?

3. In Part 5 (Maintenance Fund): if she tick "Main applicant is a Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) whose A-rated sponsor is certifying your maintenance" option.

Then she don't have to show any financial Document.

Do I still Have to attach my Pay slips and Bank Statement with this application form?

4. And what is the Application Fee for this Application How much she have to pay for applying this dependant visa application (because it is not mentioned within the form)

Confused between application Fee options

Post by usmanakram_86 » Mon Nov 18, 2013 12:41 pm

Thanks vinny for quick reply.

But I didn't get idea for

3. In Part 5 (Maintenance Fund): if she tick "Main applicant is a Tier 2 (Skilled Worker) whose A-rated sponsor is certifying your maintenance" option.

Then she don't have to show any financial Document.

Do I still Have to attach my Pay slips and Bank Statement with this application form?

and while I'm selecting Fee I select
"Show me Fee For "Join Family" "

and then it has many fee options

I'm confused between
Work permits
Dependant of current work permit holder
Visa application fee
(PKR)

50040
AND
Family of settled people (settlement)
"Spouse or civil partner of a settled person"
Visa application fee
(PKR)

"153180"
Visa application guide
"Spouse or civil partner"

Is your A-rated sponsor is certifying your wife's maintenance? Read the PBS dependant policy guidance.
