CITIBank -India - International debit card - Mastro ok?

Post by sow2k » Wed Jun 13, 2007 3:58 am

I want to use my CITIBank -India issued International debit card - Mastro
to pay for the fees ?

Has any one used this kind of cards ? Do I have to select
Switch/Maestro (UK) option ( as per item 9 in page 1 of HSMP form) or not?

Also what is the Issue No (switch) == ? (as per item 13 in page 1 of HSMP form)

Hi,
Here in UK, we have a issue no for mastreo like 1, which is printed on debit card.

i dont know about particular citi bank issued card is valid here in UK or not. From my common sense, it should work any where if it is international. Have you ever used your card in abroad? To avoid all the confusion, why dont you call the bank and confirm?

Hope it helps

Thank you

better safe than sorry. use a credit card and inform your bank saying that a transaction of x amount of Rs/GBP is expected from Homeoffie or so.

I have used Citibank Credit card and transaction went smooth. Also some of the guyz in this forum had issue with hsbc CC.

Its better to avoid tensions atleast from the day u begin hsmp in your life ;-)
