Guys - Did anyone got Citizenship Approvals so far...

@ pakistan11 : I got my approval by post this afternoon....It was a normal post. Not a registered letter

@ sandyego: Thanks for the wishes and Advance stage means that the checks are carried out and your application is already sent or will be sent in the near future to the Minister for decision.... Good Luck....

Thanks calvinKlein for your response. Tot i ask how long did you have to wait from the advanced stage till today you got your approval?

DOJ asked me for further documents which i sent in start of Sept 2013. I would say all together it took Two and half months till my approval. But if your application is gone to the Minister, i would say you should receive your letter between now and the next month...

I didn't get anything this morning. But I am confident before the year runs out since I have been told the next ceremony isn't until 2014.

Thanks buddy, finally the wait is over. At this very slow rate of approvals i doubt there will be a ceremony this year but the most important thing is that you are now a full fledged irish citizen. I suggest you still stick around the forum just to help and support the remaining guys that are still waiting just like i've done. God bless.

It is mostly good news, but refusals do happen in the final stage.

Your application continues to be processed & correspondance is due to issue

They will send you a letter of some sort soon. I don't know what kind of letter though. First time I see this particular phrasing.

My understanding is that most probably a decision is made on ur application and letter would be issued to u shortly. Hope for the best, check ur post tomorrow and every day in the coming days.

guys i have a question. about criminal background do INIS check your background from your own country as well i mean i was in prison in my country for a while will this effect my application for naturlisation any help will be much upreciated thank you.

Hi lads,
I have got my approval just this morning, letter dated 15Nov 2013. Arrived Tues 19 Nov 2013. No confirmation of Ceremony date yet.

Only thing strange is that they need now another 2 passport photos, even though i have submitted this 6 months ago with my application! (as part of new app process)
