Tier 2 dependent visa for husband

I am working in UK on employer sponsored tier 2 visa, but my employer has not agreed to sponsor my husband. He is applying for tier 2 visa now (separate application from mine as I already have a visa). He needs to show maintenance fund of 600 GBP , can he support his application by providing bank statement of my bank account in India (with required maintenance funds in Indian rupees as per the prevailing conversion rate) ? if yes then do I need to give him a NOC or some other written document to tell visa officer that I am sponsoring him?
