No Idea what form I should use to apply for my wife Visa

Post by hittu786 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 10:54 am

Hi Folks,

I have recently secured ILR (18 Nov 2013) on the basis of Tier 1(G). Now I want to apply for my wife visa but no idea what form I should use for her either SET M or PBS dependent.

I got married in 10 Nov 2012 in India and she got dependent visa in June 2013 in India and came to the UK on 31 August 2013.

could you guys let me know what form I should use for her please?

Regards,
Hittu

Either PBS dep extension or FLR(M), with FLR(M) though, there will be a Financial and English requirement. If she is not a medical doctor then a PBS dep extension may be the preferable option.

Hi Amber

Based on Hittu's position, Even if the main applicant(Hittu) is not currently holding Tier1 General Visa (applied and got ILR), Dependent can still apply in the following ways:

Tier 1 Dependent extension
FLR(M)

Please confirm.

Thanks
Mahesh

Thanks for your reply D4109125. If I apply for PBS what documents I will have to supply to Home Office?

One more question, which option is better premium service or by post? If I apply through post how long will it take?

Thanks

Yes imaheshbabu so long as the applicant gained ILR as a PBS applicant and the dep had PBS dep leave already.

hittu786, either, PEO should be a same day decision, postal may take up to 6 months. Postal is cheaper so may be a better option.
