Info requested

Friends

I need some information from you all if possible.

I am a naturalised Irish citizen and I got divorced with my EU spouse before my naturalisation. I got my divorce certificate from the court and all. I just need to find out do I need to submit that cert to any dept stating that I got divorced and can marry once again.

Or can I simply marry my current Girl friend whom I am living with.

Appreciate your information if you can

you can marry straight away after u divorce. am not sure if any holds u back cos you are a naturalized Irish. you can also check with you local civil registrar and also with your local immigration officer in any county you live. Cheers

@ maxtor,

Immigration don't have to do with ur divorce any more. U r an Irish citizen now.

Only check with the civil registrar for the requirements to get re-married.

Good Luck
