BIA Request for documents after HSMP approval

A friend of mine (genuinely!) was recently approved for in-country HSMP, received all of his documents back and everything was OK. Now, the Home Office has written to him asking for him to provide all the documents he provided with his original application. It doesn't give specific reasons, just that he needs to supply the information by 2 weeks. Any ideas why they need this information?

Dear hereagain

As U have learnt from this forum, after HSMP approval there will be another hurdle e.g EC. A few people get HSMP approval but get rejection for EC.

Just comply to what they need.

Hello Hereagain,
Can you please post the time scales...like when did u r friend sent the FLR (HSMP) application and when did he got the Acknowledgement... and when did he got reply from BIA asking him to send all the documents that were submited for approval..Thank You

He got his HSMP in March and his FLR in April.. Everything was fine until now.

What Immigration Category he was on before applying for the FLR(HSMP)

He was on a work permit prior
