SureStart Maternity Grant

Post by pt1988 » Mon Nov 25, 2013 7:09 pm

Hey guyz I require further info,

I have the form in front of me but not to sure on how to fill it out, my situation is that, I am a british citizen, and my wifes on a spouse visa, she has no recourse to public funds but we have just made a cliam for child tax credits in joint names as we were told its fine as long as am the partner is britsh.

I would like to claim grant on my name for being the husband(spouse) also a british citizen of my wife who has no recourse to public funds.

on the form it asks for Myself and Partners name address ni no etc. is it legally ok to put both our details(does it mean joint claim?)

Please someone help me out with this.

I really want to claim but want it on my name how do I do this because the forms are confusing me?

THANKS GUYS MUCH APPRECIATION FOR THE INFO I WILL RECEIVE FROM YOU.

The SSMG is classed as public funds and is not available to a ‘person subject to immigration control’ but you can claim.

Yes you must include her name too.
