Straight forward case (NOW i can say that lol ! ) although I had motoring a conviction in court on October 2008 (less than 5 years time when applied for ILR) so was a little worried as I read on this forum that it needs 5 years to become spent. So either CW used discretion or may be i was worried for nothing.
This forum has been priceless and i will still keep visiting to help anyone in anyway possible by sharing my experience/s.

Conviction code was IN10 and was given 6 points on licence with £200 Fine.meb4ne1 wrote:Congrats man!huqqapani wrote:Straight forward case (NOW i can say that lol ! ) although I had motoring a conviction in court on October 2008 (less than 5 years time when applied for ILR) so was a little worried as I read on this forum that it needs 5 years to become spent. Can you please tell us what was the conviction? Offence codes will be helpful as they help easier for searching for other people.
Generally, I think card is more preferable, however, from previous experience I had, I know card payment system is not reliable. When I applied for my current leave to remain (PSW), I paid by postal order. In my opinion that was more transparent. You could easily see when they have taken the funds by calling up post office helpline. Didn't realise bankers draft is that much of a black box. I called them up again yesterday but to no avail. The lady on the phone told me the reference number on the acknowledgement letter is issued by their payment centre and it doesn't bring anything up with that, they still can't see the application on their system. I am just going to totally switch off and stop thinking about this application. If it it works out then it works out, otherwise I'll see what happens. It's taking over my life already, can't stop thinking about it for an hour. I totally lost track how many times I visited this forum. Need to find a way to stop thinking about it completely. It's not that worrying about it is going to get me anywhere.z18runway wrote:I do agree.esmsi wrote:My prefer payment method is personal cheque
Badman87 wrote:Does anyone know when the home office are back from this apparent holiday?! Judging from the spreadsheet and the recent success stories, we can deduce July applicants are being processed. I have noticed however, processing times have improved over the last 2 months. A quick glance at the spreadsheet indicates it's currently now 16 weeks from application date to delivery of documents. Rightly so! This is the same application that had the option to be processed in a day! Ludicrous it takes so long! I digress! How long is this holiday? I hope it's not weeks because according to my calculations, if they process at the current rate, I hope to receive my ILR second week in January (mid sept applicant).

DO I need to submit all my educational certificates with my application or not ?
..I have got all my passports and never overstayed at any time.
Few friends here..suggested that there is no need of submitting these... and all you need is your Passports ( all of them ).
I came to UK as student in 2004 and then got few extensions and PSW..finally Tier 1...any help will be appreciated...Thanks.
