Joint Account

heys ...i try to open a joint account with my business partner but bank refused after 3 working days(santard)...now will try to other banks 2morw...wat the best way....
some1 told me to open company(business) account first than they will open joint account easily....
any thoughts ...will help me...

@ aliraza.lca, you need to know the reason why Satander refused to open a joint account for you and your team member. It could be an issue with any of your credit report, and if that is the case, then other banks might refused you based on the same reason.

I think some members on the forum have similar problem and were able to open a basic account with a less known bank. Hopefully those in similar situation will be able to guide you on how to go about it.

Hi, I had the same problem and friend of mine told me
To go to building society instead of bank, they easily
Open the joint account,so we went chelsea building society and
Managed to get joint account,hope this will help,just say
U both want to save money together .

Or go to co-oprative bank, they open basic joint account
Without crdit search.

Basic account ...is it gonna help for 50000 k req.. If I m nt wrong some1 posted that he got refused bcz of basic a/c... Hav u guys appld if y thn wats d response

Its uk bank account brother,there is no problem
In both of accounts, it's dsnt says anywhere on policy
Guidance that it should not be basic, plus on bank statement it dose not
Mention which account it is , but it's tottally upto u
