divorce related

Post by anush23 » Tue Dec 03, 2013 6:22 pm

Can someone please clarify regarding divorce and spouse visa ?

If the relationship has broken down permanently and one of the person is on spouse visa, is their leave on spouse visa valid

- until its expiry
- until the HO is aware of breakdown
- until the decree absolute for divorce is applied

Can the person claim to be on 'valid' spouse visa and apply for employment etc even when he/she is not cohabitating with sponsor ?

Thx in advance

On what basis were you granted a Residence Permit.

According to previous posts you are in the process of applying for BC. In which case, how is this relevant to your situation? :?

If you already have ILR then your status won't change if you separate or divorce.
