Thanks for your information. 39,000 applications just In October, that's way toooo muchhh!! no wonder it's taking this long...kerrypolka wrote:I just submitted my application today through Islington council NCS and the interviewer told me something that I think might be why Oct cases have been so delayed - apparently there was a very sharp increase in applications in October (he said 39,000 just that month) to get in ahead of the new language requirement, so there's a massive backlog. He said not to expect them to even look at my application before the new year as they have so many to get through.

APK, could you please open a separate new topic for this and we'll help you there. This topic is supposed to be for timelines only.APK wrote:Dear people who applied for British naturalization. Maybe you can give me some advice. I applied for naturalization on the 17th of October, and my fees were debited on the 15th of November already. I got a letter couple days ago from HO. They request from me P60's forms. I lost it and I provided to HO instead of my P60's Employment history and National insurance contribution forms what should be enough. At least I checked in this forum and some people did the same. Do you know I am in trouble or it should be fine? Thank you very much for your advice.

I wonder what happens if HO start processing my application, and they need to get hold of me for additional information while I am away. If I don't respond within 2 weeks, does this mean that my application is automatically rejected??
Thanks. I am just worried that my application will start getting processed while I am away from xmas until mid Jan, and if the HO has a follow up query that I can't respond to within 2 weeks, this would lead to automatic rejectionalnuaimiuk wrote:There is nothing called automatic rejected its late coz the loads amount of application applied before 28/10 and they are taking the new application slowly and what we thinking it's going to go after new year for people who applied on or after 28-oct so be patient
