Dependent legal status

Hi,

My cousin thinks he has breached the conditions of his T1 visa while his wife is on dependent visa.

Is his wife's legal status affected because she is going to apply for ILR on basis of 10 year lawful residences. Is her lawful residence broken because the main visa holder has breached the immigration law?
