Biometric information

Post by davey0 » Sun Dec 08, 2013 8:47 pm

Hello everyone!!

I am in the middle of my wife's application to apply for ILR and have been asked whether my wife had her biometric done. I was not aware of this being needed. I have just done some reading up of the UKBA website and from my understanding believe that it is only required after we have handed in her application and when it is requested?

Am i correct? I have spoke to a friend who advised me that when he completed his wife's application it was all sent back with a letter advising them to complete her biometrics and then re-send.

I am worried as i was hoping to have the form completed by the end of next week.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

Your wife would have submitted biometrics when she initially applied for her visa from abroad. This is the detail you supply, for example December 2011 at High Commission, Bangladesh.

She will be asked to submit biometrics again with her ILR application and it will be at the time of her PEO appointment if this is the way she is applying or UKBA will send a letter asking for biometrics which need to be submitted at the Post Office.
