Amex is not listed/shown as one of the options on payment form.

I do see that Amex is not mentioned as a form of payment here:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... y-fees.pdf

But the Homeoffice does mention Amex as an accepted payment for alomost every other immigration category. For example on this page

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... /applying/

Anyone has any real experience to suggest whether Amex card is accepted for naturalisation applications?

Please read the nationality fees payment form. Check if the Amex logo and name are mentioned.

I am sure you know it is not accepted because you have not seen the logo on the form. But you just want to ask for the sake of it.

Anyways, I had a look but cannot see an Amex logo. I am sending the form to University College London's document experts to have a close scientific analysis, and see if Amex logo is hidden somewhere and cannot be seen by naked eyes.

This is because they do not accept Amex as payment for this kind of application.

You do this favour to mankind. Send the application with Amex card details and let us know the outcome.

almost as though we were applying for Naturalization, instead of Naturalisation.

In seriousness, I've done a search on the forum and only found one previous discussion here. It's rather old, but the same story.

Generally AMEX is not favored in UK as their charge higher fee than others so I guess HO is not happy to share their profit with Americans.
