OCI eligibility for wife

Hello,
I intend to apply an OCI for both me and my wife.

1. Being Indian citizen by birth and now naturalized British citizen, I am eligible for an OCI, its pretty straightforward.

2. My wife is a British citizen by birth. Her father was an Indian citizen by birth but he is now a naturalized British citizen. In such situation, can my wife apply for an OCI as my spouse?
I have read the eligibility criteria and I think the answer is Yes but just want to ensure that my understanding is correct.

Unlike PIO spousal route doesn't lead to OCI unless the applicant is eligible on his/her own right. In this case your wife is eligible for OCI through her father.

iam also facing the problem, iam an indian hyderabadi, married a pakistani national in saudi arabia.
