Accommodation arrangment for Tier 1 dependant child

Post by bygodsgrace » Tue Dec 10, 2013 3:24 pm

Hi All,

I am applying for my second child's dependant visa soon. I have the following query regarding the accommodation arrangement for my child. Please note that I have 3 dependants in total (wife and 2 children).

Do I have to submit any documents other than the tenancy agreement like Landlord's letter/Immigration survey report, etc?

What is the accommodation regulation for a family of four consisting of 2 children. Elder one is 2.5 years old and younger one is 3 months old.

A quick response is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Lucapooka

Yes, you must provide accommodation evidence as the immigration rules demand the child is suitably accommodated under UK housing law. This is not the case for adult PBS dependant applications.

Hi Lucapooka,

Thanks for your reply. Is tenancy agreement alone enough for proving the accommodation as I have newly rented this property for future date (4th January) and I don't have any other evidences like bank statements.

Thanks again,

An assured shorthold tenancy agreement for self-contained accommodation for your exclusive use is fine if it includes information about the number of rooms and the number of permitted residents.
