Post by ice_breaker » Wed Nov 27, 2013 4:56 pm

Hi there

timeline

11 Nov EEA1 AND 2 (self sufficient route) sent via post
12 Nov received by HO
13 Nov payment deducted
18 Nov received acknowledgement dated 13 Nov
still waiting for COA, do you think its normal.. I have seen other timelines that normally others have received much sooner after acknowledgment. Please advise and share experience

Well, your situation is still better than mine. I sent application on Nov 02 2013, and it was received on Nov 05. I received an acknowledgement letter so far, but I haven't received a COA . I am beginning to get worried too .
Does anyone have any idea how to contact HO to request the COA ?

actually i am not intending to contact them. i had abad experience with our eea3/4 apps where after contacting them to ask about our progress (after 8 months) the guy on the phone said its still not processed, but 2 days later received our passes stating: we are returning your passports as per your (our) request. Yes! i know!!
a week later refusal for insufficient evidence of my wife's self employment.
THEREFORE talk to them let them keep those documents and stare at them as long as they want. this whole thing has made me sick.

Good news. Now count down for residence card. If you have received now then as per timeline I should expect it after 10 days lol.
