Visa success - EEA Family Permit, Accra, Ghana

Post by nea200pl » Sat Jun 23, 2007 5:48 pm

Hello!

After long struggle (since 2004) with the Home Office and British High Commission in Ghana my husband finally came home!
More about our problems here:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=16300

Our file was a size of small encyclopaedia and included everything from tenancy agreements to bank statements. But it was worth it!
We have one piece of advice - you should always tell them the truth and whatever the case is don't hide anything. It worked for us despite few scares and unhelpfulness of entry clearance officer. You should not give up, however complicated your case might look.

We would like to thank this board and it's members for great and very helpful advises we have received. You guys are great and doing fantastic work.

Warm regards

Magda and Abdul

congratulations!
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.

Congratulations Magda and Abdul . Have a long and happy life together.

Isn't the global village great! Suspect there are not many couples from Poland and Ghana! But then, why not!

congratulations on your endeavours to navigate the finer details of EEA family permits - one day when you become british citizens maybe you can support the rights of those of us who were from birth UK citizens and sign a petition or two ending the discriminatory practice of UK government not allowing us to exercise treaty rights.

oh, one other thing - why UK and not POLAND? anything to do with the social care systems, the higher salaries, or was it just the nice weather!
