Need help writing the cover letter

Post by jokira247 » Sat Dec 14, 2013 2:02 pm

Can anyone guide me what should i write in the cover letter of the application.
I am switching from tier 4 student to tier 2 general.

Or if someone can suggest a link to a cover letter template that would be really great.

Thanks

If you wish to write a personal letter to the UKBA then good for you but it's not necessary. Everything about you that is needed to process the application is asked in the questions on the application form. Is there something about your situation that you feel is vague and wish to elaborate?

It's one of the requirements on the UKBA website they say you need to send your supporting documents and cover letter explaining your application

No, you misunderstood. The cover being referred to is the cover sheet that is emitted by the on-line application. If you apply on-line you must print this and attach it to your supporting documents. Otherwise, a paper application does not have this.

When you have submitted your application form online, you must print out a cover sheet containing the details of your application
