Applying New passport in India

Hi ,

I am holding a tier 1 visa, due to some circumstances I am going to india to apply for new passport--which I cannot do at HCI.

my query is after getting a new passport, will I have any problem in entering in Uk. Do I need to inform UKBA about new passport.

FYI my name and dob will be same in new passport; just applying for correction of my parents spelling in my passport.

There will not be any problem.I have my visa on my expired passport and I have got a new one.I have traveled outside the uk many time and came back with out any problem.

Did you apply for new passport in UK or outside UK.
