When did you take the test? If it was more than 2 years ago you'll have to do it again: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdfSon_of_Tarar wrote:Hi All,
As per the recent changes to naturalization procedure, now the applicant need to provide following, in addition to Life in the UK certificate:
------------------------------
Certificate showing that you have a speaking and listening qualification in English at
B1 CEFR or higher, or an equivalent level qualification;
--------------------------------
My question here is that I came to the UK under HSMP where I provided them my IELTS certificate with a band 6.0. Now the certificate has expired !
Please can you tell if I need to pass IELTS or CEFR once again, before I apply for Naturalization application
Many Thanks

No, you have been advised to search for similar topics and there are a few of them. But in two words, for purpose of naturalisation only, you can submit your expired IELTS provided you scored 4 at least.Son_of_Tarar wrote:Thanks Guys, for the help.
I now understand that even though I passed IELTS 5/6 years ago, I need to retake the exam.
Thanks
Well, if you had taken just one minute, you would have noticed that the answer is there, in black and white, with reference, for settlement and for naturalisation.Son_of_Tarar wrote:
it would have helped if you could send me reference.
Hi there, is a EXPIRED TOEFL also still acceptable for naturalisation application which some one had presented it at the entry clearance(HSMP) time please?Amber_ wrote:An expired IELTS is still acceptable for settlement and naturalisation.
