No unfortunately, it has been four weeks since i gave in extra docs but nthng as of yet!

Salaam Batleykhan,

I wanted to ask this question; say you have applied for a spouse visa using savings as a shortfall to meet the income requirement. Where you have said that you need to be in work for 5 years earning the £18,600.00 minimum requirement salary to then apply for ILR. How would you then apply incase you do not get a job which pays that amount of salary?

Could you still use savings to meet that shortfall? As from my take on the subject, I am sure you can judging by what has been stated by the home office in the annex 1.7fm guidelines.

Yes you have to show you meet the requirement either by earnings over 18600 or earnings plus savings or earning plus rental income.The income can be combined of both husband and wife and not just one of you.This need to be done both at FLR and ILR stages

After 8 and half long wait my husband got his visa granted.

I thank Allah for listening to our duas and I pray he grants everyone's visa and unite everyone as a family soon.

First applied: 14th November 2012.
Rfc in jan: refused
Reapplied: 4th April 2013
In hold: middle of November we will got email telling us we are on hold
Sent extra docs: 9th December 2013
Rfc: 20th December 2013
Visa granted.

I've been waiting since July since we submitted my wife's application from Lahore. It's now been over 22 weeks

Application LHE: 19/07/13
Status: Under process 01/08/13
RFC: Who knows?

Has anybody else been waiting since July?

I thought maybe today people will hear back on this forum because BHC and Gerry's were both working today.

No one will hear till next week. I checked on the BHC website and there holidays are 25th and 26th and gerry's holidays are 25th, 26th and 27th.

Insha Allah hope get better week, next week. This week and last week has been abit quiet on the forum.

Good Luck to all waiting. Lets all pray for a better week next week with more RFC and granted visa'a. Insha Allah
