Posting my documents tommorow

Post by HolaHSMP » Tue Jun 26, 2007 11:49 am

Hey guys!!

Wish me luck!!!

I am posting my documents tommorow:

1. B.E India degree certificate, no NARIC approval - 30 points

2. Earnings in UK - 35 points
a. 12 months bank statement
b. 12 months wage slip
c. Salary Certificate letter from organization stating gross salary

3. Age - 10 points
a. Notarised copy of Passport front, back and visa pages
b. Indian driving licence

4. Previous UK Work EX: - 5 points
a. Employment Proof Letter

5. IELTS Official Score Report 8.0 - English Requirement met

TOTAL POINTS: 80

I am sending my documents by courier tommorow so hopefully will reach there by 28th Thursday and I should be ontime for seeking the previous earnings claim period from April 2006 - March 2007.

NOTE: If it reaches by 2nd July Monday I am screwed since I cannot claim the period till March 2007. As a backup I am submitting 14 months wage slips (from April 2006 till May 2007) and corresponding Bank statements.

Let me know your opinion :?:

Thanks for reading :)

I think you need income tax return or you should provide the exceptional reason why you are not able to provide.....

My P60 which is the UK income tax return for 2006 -07 does not state my Gross Pay but states my taxable Pay which is lower than my Gross Pay as stated in my final salary slip. Hence I have stated the reason that I have not received it till now and I am submitting both bank statements and certificate from employer as alternate evidences. I have mentioned this in the covering letter as well as in the HSMP form.

I hope this should suffice.

Even if you say you have not received it, then you need to provide evidence for it that you really have not received it....i.e it should be mentioned in the letter from employer that P60 is yet to be issued!!!! if not they will not consider your exceptional evidence!!!

I would require a clarification please. I have posted this earlier as well. If my P60 does not show the Gross Salary but shows the taxable salary while is less than Gross salary, then, is it advisable to submit the P60 since I will end up losing points if the casework decides to only consider the P60 as evidence.

Upon digging deep into my payslips I found the following:

My March 2007 salary slips contains 2 things:
1. Gross Pay for the year: Assume £100
2. Taxable pay for the year : Assume £80.

Now the P60 contains the taxable amount £80 rather than £100 which is the gross salary. The deviation is due to the fact that in April 2006 there was a negative tax carried forward from the previous year 2005 and it got deducted form the taxable pay component.

Now how do I explain the case worker this situation

No u cannot. App must reach end of June
In that case can I claim may2006 - apr2007 with following docs:
for may2006 - mar2007 :
salary slips (attested from company)
bank statement (attested from bank)
form 16 (original)
and for apr2007:
salary slip (attested from company)
bank statement (attested from bank)

OR should I get something else for apr2007

Hi,

I made the grid myself and it was only for the caseworker's reference so I did not get it approved from my company. Its basically in an excel sheet with columns as below:

Pay Date|| TAX PERIOD || CUMULATIVE PAYE TAX
||Total Deduction|| Bonus + Arrears|| Net Pay||
CumulativeTaxable Pay || Cumulative Gross Pay

You will find most of these colums in your UK Pay Slip.

The other grid for bank statements is as below:

Period Month Salary Credit Date Amount Creditor Name

I have provided the creditor's name since in month of April 2007 the salary got credited from a different reference number which was not my employer's name. I got a letter from my bank by post stating that the refernece number corresponds to my employer.

Help it helps!!

My application status

Application Sent via Royal Mail:

Application received: 28th June 2007 (Royal Mail Tracker information)
Amount Debited: 02nd July 2007

At last talked to a someone in HSMP team and got to know that no caseworker has been assigned till now. I also sent few corrections and original employer's letter that the person told will be added to my HSMP application.

Hi fly2uk,
If you have an account with ICICI,SBI, HDFC etc. then you can get a DD for which the money will be debited from your account. But you may have to wait for a day for this process. If you are impatient like me , you can walk into any of the Thomas Cook offices ,pay them about 33,500 Rs. and get a DD of 400 GBP in favour of “Home Office, Work Permits (UK)â€

previous earnings proof

Post by !xobile » Thu Jul 05, 2007 9:52 am

Hello,

I am applying through a consultant in bangalore(since I wasnt aware of this forum and also HSMP rules properly at that time).
I have all the documents required for all points section.

In the previous earning section.
I have got the payslips for the previous 12 months and an experience letter from the employer(No salary details on the letter).
Form16 and SARAL for assessment year 06-07.
bank statements showing salary credit entry with the Employeers name.

But my consultant told me that He is aware of a case where the an applicant got nil points since his paylips had the financial year mentioned at the top of the page and not next to the month for which the payslip is.
My payslip looks similar. Now as you all know we generate the payslips using the Workflow ourselves and there is noway we can change the format.

I requested HR dept to give me a letter on the company letter head, with the salary breakup for the last year.
Ofcourse I did not tell them the purpose for obvious reasons.
For which they refused saying that they donot disclose salary information formally on a company letter head.
They can max give me an experience letter, and they said they can speak through phone or in person If any entity wanted such a proof.

Now I am not sure what to do in this situation.
Please advise.
