How long will take to encash DD

Dear Friends,

My documents were reached home office on 19th of June, DD was enclosed. I have not received the Reference number till today.

DD was taken from HSBC, Hyderabad.

Anyone could tell me ' How to make sure whether the DD was encashed by Home office"

The fact that a number has been assigned means that the HSMP team has received your application, which only occurs after payment has cleared.

Application Sent on 16th June thru FedEx
Home office Received on 19th June
Reference number assigned on 26th June
I have enclosed a DD worth of GBP400 and that was taken from HSBC.

I belive nibidy could give U the answer as it depends on your case, documents, etc. SOme people get it in 1 week some people might be 6 months where U r U will know it

Can you tell how did you make the DD from HSBC??

And what points did you claim??

I have an account in HSBC.
Visited HSBC personally, written a letter requesting to provide me a DD (GBP 400) payable to Home office, work permits.

Simply they have given a DD in GBP400 with in half an hour and deducted equvalent INR from my account.
