Query for entry clearance of child born in the UK

Post by faran.bajwa » Mon Dec 30, 2013 7:35 pm

hi, my daughter was born in the UK,I got settlement last month. Now I've sent MN1 application for my child but its taking ages for the certificate to be issued these days.

My daughter needs to travel abroad with her mother, and doesn't have UK visa. What is the work around for her to get back in the UK? Does she need to apply visit from abroad, and if yes, which type of visa etc?

Please advise

Thanks

What form of settlement do you have? Was it ILR?
and what is the immigration status of the child's mother?

Did either parent have ILR when the child was born?
