Counting of 5 year continuous period for ilr

Post by Lalitbob » Mon Jan 06, 2014 12:21 am

Initially I was issued visa for 3 years under Tier 2 ICT and came on 11. later on it was extended for one year.

My details are as under

Entry in uk under Tier 2 ICT visa -11.11.2009
After extension of one year, visa expiry - 28.11.2013.
Left the country - 13.10.2013.

Applied for visa under tier 2 general in India on 16.12.2013 and got the visa on 02.01.2014.

Am I eligible for ilr if I come in uk before 13.01.2013 to join the new company.

Thanks in advance for your guidance and feedback.

I believe your clock is reset and you will need to be in UK lawfully for 5years before you can apply for ILR.
