Child Born abroad, got ILR a year ago. Which section?

Post by matiq » Wed Jan 08, 2014 12:12 pm

Hi Gurus,

My "SEP 2007" born daughter came with me on HSMP (Tier1 General now) then got ILR together with me a year ago.

Now I, my wife and my daughter are going to apply for naturalization in a joint application. I know, I and my wife shall use form AN and my daughter shall use form MN1. Looking at the following URL I cannot determine which section my daughter should apply under!

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/briti ... shcitizen/

Any guidance shall be highly appreciated!!!

Thanking in Anticipation

If she was born in the UK, then it is Section 1(3) which is an entitlement.

If she was born abroad, then it is Section 3(1) which is at discretion.
