Hi good people got a call from my solicitor today that my rc had been issued so I thought it would be nice to share my timeline as others have done.

Eea 1 and 2 submitted in August
Application fee charged 3 days after
Wife eea 1 was issued in September
I got my coa in November eea2
Finally I got my rc today which means it was issued in December

Thanks.
My wife is on holiday so I'm going to join thank GOD I don't need a visa.

Akash, I would rather recommend you that EEA national should be declared as employed person instead of a Job-Seeker or if you have got enough savings then apply as self-sufficient sponsor.
The reason i said that is because UKBA states the following about Job-Seeker :

In most circumstances we would expect an EEA national to be economically active within six months. It is highly likely that an individual claiming a right of residence as a job-seeker will also be exercising treaty rights as a self-sufficient person.

You can find this and more details here.

Hi Guys,

I have submitted my application for EEA2 after Marriage with EU national.

Applications sent: 28/11/2013
Application received there: 29/11/2013

HO haven't deducted my fee yet. So,I haven't received any acknowledgement as well.

Please can anybody advise me, whether do i need to contact HO or not to check, why they didn't deduct my fee and what's about COA?

Or do i need to wait more...is anybody here with same situation which is being faced by me?

There might be something missing in application supporting documents, OR they would be lazy because of christmas holidays.
Wait for few days, you will get a postal response.

As per HO history, their formal refusal letter is received 1-2 days after this text message. You would be receiving a letter in couple of days.

Your receipt of post office, for sending application, is enough proof. Later, when you receive COA (Certificate of Application) you can give it to them, if HO give you right to work.

Greek and Turkish but IMHO I don't think that nationalities affect application timeline. We are married since 2005, I am employed full time now and I came here after finding job. So I don't think that there was any single point for consideration from their side.

But definitely they were fast, we were not expecting it in less than 2 months.

Congratulations. :) It is great to read that people who applied around late 2013 have already received their RCs. Can I ask: did you come to the UK on an EEA Family Permit? Did you apply under the worker route? And lastly, had you requested your passport back?

Hi, I was applied for EEA2 residence card on 25 oct 2012 HO refused my application on 20 may that where my EEA National spouse is working that company is dissolved on 14 may...
On 22 oct 2013 we were heard in first tribunal judge also dismissed our appeal that there is no enough evidence that your EEA national was working.

On 01 august 2013 we re-apply as new application with payslips and bank statements that wages are coming in her bank account.

To Be very honest Home Office inquiry on 19 Dec 2013 to her employer about job verification, which employer did.

On 08 January HO refuse my visa with reasons that...
1. The HO call to employer on 08 January 2014 someone answer the phone they don't know my spouse,s employer (FUNNY).
2. The HO make numerous call on that Number but no one answer the phone (LIE).
3, We provide payslips and bank statement are in low quality papers.

Truth is that they make call on 19 December 2013 for job inquiry which employer verify.

Although this is 2nd Time HO Refuse mine and my spouse German nationals Registration Certificate.

Any expert in this forum could give me an advise that what we should do in this situation, we have to re-apply or appeal against HO Decision?

How many chances are there to refusal again? or is any chance to win appeal.
Home Office says they call on 08 january 2014 numerous time but No one answer then again they write that some one answer the phone but they don't know about your employer.

Plz help me what I should do even they gave me right of appeal.

I thought I’d share my timeline as I very happily received my visa today!! I’m Mexican married to a Spanish (July 2013 in the UK) and both living in the UK.

Here's the timeline:

EEA2 application sent: 29/10/13 including postal order and pre-paid delivery
COA received: 14/11/13 (dated 12/11/13)
Residence card received: 14/01/14

It really was much better than expected 2 months from COA to Residence Card!! Good luck!!
