Visa Extension

Hi,

My wife is from Pakistan. Her Visa epires on 16th February however I have several concerns.

Pre October 2013 she completed the Esol Entry Level 3 course and yesterday failed in her first atempt to pass the Life in the UK test in Bradford.

So .... my question is:

Is the ESOL Entry Level 3 qualification sufficient enough for the B1 requirement &
What options do I have i.e. extend her visa or take the Test again?

If you are applying to for extension of Tier 1 Gen for your wife then she don't need ESOL or Life in the Uk as these are the requirements for ILR and NOT for Extension applications .

Putting the extension to one side. What would you reccomend we do? Her visa expires in 5 weeks and we are not able to apply for the Indefinate stay because she did not pass the life in the uk. Would you suggest a Visa extension. If so, does any one have any details?
