It says in the annex they don't accept third party support!

Don't worry don't let this bring u down! Just quickly reapply and make sure you don't make the same mistake
Thanks, i feel really s**t now lol.

You're right, and i knew they didn't accept third party support, i was never going to write it down. It just asked on the application form if i receive any third party help, so i thought why not put it down, better than nothing? Wrong, as i've found out! I think it's a very clever entrapment technique they use, so they have a reason to reject it. But i still think they are wrong, i exceed the level before even taking into account the third party help.

My plan now is to appeal asap, just not sure if orally or by papers. I am praying it won't take too long. I have emailed the visaenquiriesislamabad just to say its going to cause time and public money for an appeal, for a blatant mistake, but i am not expecting to hear anything positive back!

HELLO786: Thanks. I applied in Mirpur, Pakistan.

Ahh gosh sorry i didn't mean to make u feel bad!!!!

InshAllah the appeal should be in your favour!
Follow the advice on this board because.many solicitors really mislead!! My friend had that experience. So i think your better off listening to the gurus!!

I will do so much dua for u, as i know this wait is hard!!

If i need to go to Kashmir to officially divorce my ex-wife (i divorced her 3 years ago but no paper work or certificates were processed as we both didn't need the official divorce documents), does anybody know how many days it would take for me to actually be there in Kashmir?

Would i need to make an appointment with the union council to go there and sign the divorce document, or can i just walk in there and sign it on the day?

Thank you for your email. Please note that we have checked the status of
your wife's visa application which is under Process at BHC. The settlements
application processing time is generally 12 to 24 weeks and it may vary from
applicant to applicant. The visa applications are being handled by BHC. We
at Gerry's have no control / access over the process and duration of any
type of visa application. We can only arrange the application when we get
hold on the processed passport.

We appreciate your understanding and patience.

My status hasn't changed either. It normally goes straight to collection if it doesn't change.

I applied at the start of November 2013, it was forwarded to Islamabad OC on the same day.

It is, but we just have to be patient, and pray. Not a lot we can do before we get a decision.

Is there a separate email apart from Gerry like for the BHC where i can get an update. Also if any docs were missing or they had reason to refuse outright i would have heard within 3 months right??

No Dear,

I guess you just be patient and pick it up on 15th Jan.

I suspect if you get any reply before 15th any way.

they took 3 months approx so it falls with in thier prescribed timeline on UKBA website.

Just be brave & let us know the outcome.

I hope it'll be positive IA.

That's the e-mail you can contact to get a response regarding the status of the application.

To Shah183

Its good to hear that you received RFC message. Insha Allah visa will be granted, just a shame you have to wait till Wednesday to find out. Your RFC message has made me nervous because i think my husband will be next on this forum to receive RFC message. He submitted in September too. Good Luck ! Let us know when you find out.
