Yep, it's complicated because of the various activities she has undertaken. We are erring on the side of caution (hopefully) by submitting more evidence of her different (concurrent) activities than less.
The documents we plan to submit are:
- Completed EEA4 form
- Cover letter
- Statement from EEA national
- Statement from non-EEA national
- Timeline of working activities and residences
Proof of EEA continuously exercising treaty rights in the UK for five years (from January 2009 – present)
1) When she was studying (January 2008-April 2011)
a. Letter confirming her enrolment at London Metropolitan University
b. Statement of loan payments received from the Student Loans Company
2) When she was employed (January 2008-July 2011)
a. Letter from HMRC detailing employment history for the tax years 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12.
b. Copies of P45s from Company A, B
c. Contract of employment from the XXXX
d. Fee invoices from XXXXX
e. PAYE coding notice from November 2011
3) When she was seeking work (September 2011 & January-March 2012)
a. Letter from HMRC detailing payments received via Jobseeker’s Allowance (SEE 2A)
b. P45 from JSA
Also: Payments from Jobseekers' highlighted in bank statements in COLOUR
4i) When she was self-employed: Own Company (August 2011 onwards)
a. A copy of our published guide-book
b. Limited company accounts as submitted to Companies House
c. Company bank statements
d. Invoices
e. Letter confirming our funding
f. Certificate of VAT registration
g. De minimis Aid Notification letter
h. Certificate of incorporation
i. Business plan
j. Marketing plan
k. Print-outs of our website, Facebook page, and Amazon listing
4ii) When she was self-employed as a nanny (October 2011- December 2013
a. Completed self-assessment tax returns
b. Letter from HMRC regarding NI payments
c. Record of income received (accounts)
d. Corresponding cash deposits to personal bank account highlighted in [COLOUR]
5) For proof of relationship
a. Certificate of marriage in the UK on 09/02/2008
Proof that have both been continuously resident in the UK November 2008-present
6) For proof of our continuous stay in the UK
a. Tenancy agreements for the 3 addresses we have lived at over the past 5 years
b. Utility bills: council tax, mobile phone (only a couple)
c. For EEA national: Personal bank statements, complete, with payments for self-employed earnings highlighted (no separate business account)
e. For non EEA national: Personal bank statements, intermittent
f. For non-EEA national: supporting documents showing non EEA nationals' working activities over the past 5 years
d. Credit agency report detailing previous addresses and accounts held
Of course, I'd welcome any advice on whether this is going overboard and if there's anything else we should include.
