OCI status now missing OCI number

Hi

I applied for Oci on Dec 4th and on 20th Dec got Acknowledged on the status page ..At that time there was a OCI NUMBER field which was blank but after 2 days the OCI NUMBER FIELD disappeared from the status page and only have the following fields

Applicant Name xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
File Acknowledgment Number xxxxxxxxxxxx
Date Of Acknowledgment 20-Dec-2013
Registration Status at Mission LONDON
Documents Printing Status UNDER-PROCESS

Is that normal and does acknowledging the application mean OCI is granted ?

Not yet approved. The application is under review.
OCI number will appear once the application is approved/OCI booklet printed.

Oh ..Thx for the reply ..So it is normal for the OCI field to disappear from the status page all of a sudden ..I have booked tickets for 8th Feb so checking the status every hour ..

Just wanted to update ..My OCI number appeared on 15 th Jan and they dispatched it on 17th Jan (today) .. Will update when it reaches London ..

Dispatched From MOIA (OCI )NEW DELHI : 17-JAN-2014
Document received At LONDON : 20-JAN-2014
Passport sent for stamping : 21-JAN-2014 (Royal Mail SD)
Passport Received from HCI LONDON : 28-JAN-2014
