Family - OCI application form

Post by bindukonahala » Tue Jan 14, 2014 2:22 pm

Hi,
I have to apply for OCI for my son and myself.

But, on the online OCI Registration form, I couldn't find an option to select the registration for "Family".

Can somebody help me on how to proceed with this?

FYI, these are the steps I followed, but, with these, I can only make an "Individual" application not a "Family" one.

1. Opened the URL https://passport.gov.in/oci/
2. Clicked on the button "Click to Proceed"
3. Selected "New OCI registration" button
4. Answered the random question (how many days are in October) and clicked Enter button
5. Selected "Fresh Application"
6. I could not find any option on the "OCI Registration" form to add another family member.

Hi, after proceeding it gave me these instructions.

Steps for successful Registration
1. Read Instruction carefully before starting the registration process.

2. Make a list of family members who are willing to apply for OCI.

3. Start registration from Part-A, and keep registering Part-A for all the family members in one go.

4. Part-B Registration, which is a group registration, will require information of the family members who are applying for OCI-Card.

5. Documents to be enclosed alongwith application are given at the end of Part-B.

6. Completed application is to be submitted to the appropriate office.

I'm not sure if its the same thing, by me and my brothers did it on separate forms and then submitted in together as one application.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

It gave me the same instructions when I started the registration.

So, in step 3, it says "3. Start registration from Part-A, and keep registering Part-A for all the family members in one go" .
I was wondering, how to add all family members in one go?

So, I can fill individual forms and submit as a family application at the HCI office?
