Surrendering Indian Passport | Coloured photocopies?

Hi,

I have to surrender my Indian passport.
I understand from the VFS website that I will have to submit self-attested copies of all the used pages in Indian passport.
A friend as informed me that the copies need to be made in colour however the VFS website does not specify this.
Could someone please advise if black and white copies will be accepted?

b/w copies are fine.

The information about colour copies is not correct, though they don't mind colour copies, B&W copies will be fine ( dont forget to self attest)
