The New Section 10 questions

Post by drcalm » Tue Jan 14, 2014 2:52 pm

Hi,
Filling out the EEA2 form, and I'm not sure what to write at 10.12, haven't found anything useful around.
Can you please advise?

"10.12:

Please state what ties you have with;
• The country where you were born
• Any other country whose nationality you hold
• Any country where you have lived for more than 5 years
You should tell us about any family, friends, or other connections with that country.

Country | Social cultural or family ties"

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks a lot

Just to emphasis my question, what should I write there?
Is it, for example:
"Country: Argentina,
Social Cultural or family ties: Niryo- Dad, Alexandra - Mom, Javier - Brother, Novik Dalvi - friend "
?

I don't really get it.

Just ignore this section. It has nothing to do with EEA applications and is there just because someone in the HO did a lazy copy and paste from another type of application.
Check the FAQ before posting!
Citizenship (adults, children, passport)
EEA (EEA FP, RC, PR, Surinder Singh)

An application for a residence card ought to be really simple. Generally, the important items are passport, proof of relationship to EU national, proof that the EU national is entitled to a residence certificate (is a worker, self-sufficient person or student).

Thanks guys. I'll keep it simple, put a few names and that about it.

.
.
Perhaps UKBA leave it in the EEA application to create confusion and concern. ?
A large authority such as UKBA should have a correct application form, asking just the right questions, and no more.
