Today morning my wife's invitation for 20th Jan citizenship ceremony has arrived....all praise to GOD.

This forum has been a great help through out mine and my wife's journey to Irish citizenship ....it was quite a ride (sometime pretty frustrating and irritating). My best wishes are with all hopefuls for Irish citizenship ....remember patience is name of the game (I had come to Ireland as student in 2003).

Finally now we will be able to travel visa free.

after approval we send 2 photo, 950 and garda card ...usual stuff. No documents were requested at any stage.

Yes, Remi from Tallaght county Dublin and i has the same numbers of criminal shouting conviction amounted to 13 conviction, he was granted Irish nationality and i am still waiting why ?

Why don't all try a refusal on criminal damage to my own address and front door, not your own front doors to which you live at, and see whether the computer will accept such refusal ?

My Husband is Turkish and has been living here in Ireland with me from Dec 2010. We have made application and emailed few weeks ago but have had no reply. Does anyone have a tel number we can call (tried one from a site that only opens on Tue&Thu) and have never been able to get through.

We live in the North of Ireland and paid a solicitor to handle this for us but it doesn't seem to be moving at all!!

If anyone was asked for further docs, what were they?

Anyone share any success or stories?
