Good day,
I too am waiting for feedback, since I was told by my employer that The decision will be made on the 11th which was on Saturday. Even if it was moved to the 13th. But does anyone know how long it usually would take to get feedback from UKBA on the issuing of the restricted COS?
Any advice will be much appreciated

The meeting was moved to the 13th and I did receive my COS on the 13th. Hopefully you'll get a response soon. I know how frustrating it can be.

Just out of curiosity, did they ask your sponsor for any additional documents? Sometimes that delays the process.

To 3rdman : If you dont mind me asking when did your employer make an application for COS as on the 13th Jan all applications from 5th Dec -6th Jan wouldve been considered. So probably its first come first serve I shouldve assumed.

I scored 38 points I believe. And we made the application for COS on the 24th of December. Hope that helps, and hope you can get some news soon!

Hi pgaiks, the order in which ukba consider is points. if points are equal than they will allocate all of them at the same time or none.

@3rdman : Thanks for that mate. I probably will have to wait till monday to find out.

@smodi : Thanks for the info. Not entirely sure what you mean by "if points are equal"? Do you mean they allocate bulk batches of COS at one time for applications having similar points.

Allocation of tier 2 restricted certificate for January 2014

Post by Suranga » Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:16 pm

Hello every one,

My employer applied for a CoS on behlf of me on 5th Jan 2014. They haven't heard from UKBA since then. When would the UKBA announce of the issuance of CoS for Jan 2014 since they had the allocation meeting on 13th Jan 2014.

Thanks in advance.

Has everyone received their CoS? My employer applied for on 02-Jan-2014 and we have not heard anything since.

My CoS application was made on 05 Jan 2014 and it was approved.
The UKBA website even published the statistics for Restricted CoS Allocation so your employer should be able to see on SMS if it has been approved.

Waiting for my Tier 2 General Priority application to come through now :)
