One is talking about EEA Family Permit applied for abroad.
One is talking about Residence Card applied within the UK.
Timescales are different between the two.

I think it's your choice whether to have a representative present.

You should also tape your interview for your records.

They are very nice and polite people. I heard from some people that they are rude etc, but our experience was good. Interview took 3.15 mins, 2 hrs for wife ,1 hr for me.

They asked more from my wife, people who ask what kind of questions they can ask. I will say everything related to both of you. If you are genuine don't need to scare or remember anything.

Nearly two weeks gone, we are waiting don't know how long, interviewer said decision will be quick as it passed over 6 months.
Don't take my advice as granted., m not solicitor, thanks :)

I have a marriage interview in Liverpool , is it possible for me to tape the interview? Do they allow people to keep their mobile phone with them during the interview? Did you guys go with a lawyer during your interview at Liverpool? Please any information from people who have gone thru this process will be much appreciated.

Why are you so concerned about taking a mobile phone into the interview with you, that you've asked the question twice? :?
