Ways to contact the case worker

Post by Ondatra » Tue Jan 21, 2014 9:53 am

Hi all,

Has anyone got any ideas (or successful examples) on contacting the case worker directly? We’ve sent our EEA1 and EEA2 applications 3,5 months ago (married, EEA national working full time). We had to call twice about the CoA which eventually arrived after 6 weeks.

Two weeks ago we sent some additional documents (most recent payslips and an update on permanent contract) and were told to call in a week to check if they had been attached to the case. Two weeks later – still no note on the case even though they confirmed that the documents were received on 08/01/2014.

I understand that this might sound impatient. However, we know two different couples in two different cities with two completely different situations. Both of them applied for RC 4-6 weeks later than we did and both of them already have their RCs issued!

I’ve read that some people do manage to contact the right team or even their case worker. Any suggestions, ideas, success stories? All we know is that our team is Euro 6 in Liverpool.

Thanks in advance!

Couples who received their RC more quickly does not means that all applicants receive decisions scientificly.
If some body explain you to how to contact directly to your case worker, then what will you do?????.may be you will write him a letter?or a phone call??? So in both cases you will waste the time of your case worker.nothing else.
If you don't receive the decision within the time frame given by the HO,then you should write a complaint.

There is really no need to be patronizing. We simply want to make sure that the additional documents are attached to our case and looked at as they are relevant to our application. Thanks for your opinion though.
