Tier 2 restricted certificate start date

Hi all Gurus,

My employer is applying for tier 2 restricted certificate, and in the first screen it ask for Work dates start and end date. Does this start date and end date should be three year long so that I can get 3 year visa or just one year.

it is up to your sponsor - depends how long they want to employ you for. The maximum is 3 years.

Thank you Manci, this is what I wanted to confirm that if employer want me for three year than they have to specify it when they put the request for cos.
